Tenuta San Vito In 1982, the Tenuta San Vito was the first winery in Tuscany to switch over to organic farming, and we were its first customer. It is quite large, covering 150 hectares, 30 hectares of which are used for vineyards, and 20 hectares for olive trees. The rest of the area is forest, which surrounds the entire estate and marks the boundary to the other vineyards. Not far from Florence, it is secluded and far from noise and traffic. In the course of our collaboration with this winery, which has been going on since 1984, numerous measures to improve the quality have been taken. New high-quality vines were planted in the vineyards, the cellar was equipped with new oak barrels and modern technical instruments and a new temperature-controlled storage room was built for the bottles. Since that time, the wines have continued to improve. Numerous awards and medals in London, Zurich and Verona confirm our positive assessment.
