Biodynamic wines ALSACE Our biodynamic wines come from the Region of Haut- Rhin, between Colmar and Guebwiler, which is considered to be superior to the regions north of Colmar towards Strasbourg (Bas Rhin). The river Rhine marks the border in the east between Alsace and Germany. The hills of the Vosges west of the wine growing areas are keeping off cold westerly winds and rain. It is a beautiful landscape with many pitturesque villages with a number of good restaurants inviting the traveller to typical dishes of this Region. With one exception (Edelzwicker), wines from Alsace are always wines of one single grape variety. Our relationship with the Domaine Eugen Meyer exists since 1985, ever since they were producing excellent and reliable biodynamic wines. |

One of the few reliable facts is, that with a few exeptions, every wine called burgundy is made of the Pinot Noir grape for red burgundy Chardonnay for white burgundy. |
